CLARITY: Titans GM Mike Borgonzi ultimately made the decision to hire Robert Saleh. Monday's visit swayed the decision in Saleh's favor. Saleh impressed Borgonzi and the group enough to conclude he was the best candidate for the job.

@JakeAndBall Nah WE didnt. YALL did and yall are stupid for it. This is a terrible hire. I hope he proves me wrong but nothing about his past says this was a good hire. This organization is run so poorly.

As Titans fans, we get a lot of crap for our attendance problems, lack of social media presence, and fair weather nature. But the franchise was absolutely 100% going to hire Matt Nagy, all of us collectively got on here and revolted, and we landed Robert Saleh. We did this.

@Wrathchild_3D @SharmSports You seem to forget that the situation we have here isn't much better, if at all, than what he had with the Jets. Our ownership sucks, our roster is garbage with only a couple of bright spots, and he already showed he couldnt be a head coach. Great coord but not the HC

ESPN sources: Titans are working to finalize a deal to hire 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh as their head coach. Saleh spent Monday in Tennessee with the Titans, and the two sides impressed each other enough to move forward together.
