@BowTiedYukon I'd go a step further and say they should never see you drink alcohol at all when they're young. That, alongside any bad behavior like arguing or frequently eating like shit. Kids are sponges and their parents are their first role models.

My dad never once had a sip of alcohol around me until I was in my late teens. I’m not sure if he mentally decided to never drink or be drunk around his son, but I truly think that was one of the best gifts he could have given me.
