L'Italia non ha costruito sufficienti impianti per le energie rinnovabili, quindi ora l'energia è la più cara d'Europa. Non c'è da stupirsi, visto l'incompetenza del governo italiano.

@McFaul NATO bases are owned by the country they are hosted. If I allow to use such base for a war towards another country, I am de-facto participating to the war effort and I am declaring war too. Just as an example, Italy, in its constitution, cannot declare war unless for defense.

Even if you did not support Trumps decision to launch of war of choice against Iran (like me), restricting the use of US airbases in NATO countries imprudently damages NATO unity. Yes, Trumps threats to invade/annex NATO countries does too. But 2 wrongs don’t make a right.

@KurtSchlichter European countries have violated a contract that was entered into through a treaty. That means the deal is off - done - "caput" as the Germans might say. Good riddance. We don't need Europe for anything. And Mr @POTUS please don't let them ride on our tail to the Moon either.

The Europeans are not dealing with “a man.” They are dealing with the United States of America. The United States needed the most innocuous kind of cooperation from them. They denied the United States that cooperation. The implied argument is that their obligations within our alliance depend on whether they like the guy we chose as our president. “Sure, we’re allies…if we approve of who you elected.” Nope. We are not going to forget, and we’re not going to forgive. I’m indifferent to their excuses or their rationalizations. The United States of America needed their help and not very much help.
