What to Do When the Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred Expansion Starts! - Pick your character and build. - Select Seasonal + your desired game mode (the Season starts 30 minutes after launch) or play non-seasonal - Choose Normal or Hard difficulty. - Open your character panel, go to the Wardrobe tab, and equip your pet. - Open your character panel, go to the Mercenaries tab, visit the Den, and pick a mercenary (Subo for map hack or Raheir for survivability). - Enlist a mercenary for reinforcement. - Complete the Lord of Hatred campaign. - Complete your class quest at level 15 or 25 (Necromancer). You can skip this if you’ve previously played the character and already completed it after the change. - Complete your Season Journey and the new Capstone Dungeons to progress and earn big rewards. - Adjust difficulty based on your drops. - Do War Plans/open-world activities until around level 55 (honestly, just do whatever is fun and explore, not everything is figured out yet). - From level 50+, complete all Strongholds on Normal difficulty until you reach level 70. - At level 70, focus on acquiring/leveling your Glyphs (the best current method is to spam the Pit). - Decide which endgame activities you want to engage with and get juiced! - You can also just ignore all of this and just HAVE FUN! Note: They removed Rapport a while ago, so make sure to grab your skill points and Paragon points from the Season Journey tab.

@towelthetank Here is what is going to happen. The kickstart said if it does not launch they will give backers full refunds. So the "new board" will basically launch the alpha as release, say "we released the game", then they don't have to give refunds.

Not 100% sure on the Ashes of Creation story here. But it seems a lot if not maybe everyone was laid off from what I'm reading. Waiting for an official statement. That being said. Ashes of Creation is a prime example of why it is so hard for the players to TRUST any new MMORPG that comes out and why they are sometimes or most of the time a bit high strung and volatile about it. The thousands of dollars spent some 20k some 30k 8 years into development. Hell I even kick started it for $400 on first day of Kickstarter. But I quickly realized what all the non naive and smart gamers realized about 6 years in. It feels like trickery. Feels like the inevitable which may be perceived as a scam at this point. Steam just rolled out what month ago or so and there were no signs by them? I dunno man. As much as we meme the AoC players I feel downright sorry for them if this is all true.

@AshesofCreation you need to take the servers down if you can't fix the Async issue. Players being frustrated getting dc'ed every 5 mins is not the image you want out there.

@AshesofCreation You need to get the pvp corruption system enabled. No penalty for anyone doing PvP, especially those pvp’ing against innocents. Also in PvP, crafting packs should drop and not be destroyable but have to be carried to the vendor for a reward. Breaking down the pack is not good.

@Storage_Venture If it was a fixed price contract then you owe nothing extra, he could of come to you during the process and advised that things may cost more then expected then change request could of been done. If it was just a quote or estimate, then yeah, split it.

Concrete guy and I agreed to 96k. Signed the contract. Job is done. He comes to me saying he used way more gravel and had a lot more site prep than anticipated. He said he went over budget 8k and wants me to split it with him. What’s your move?

@Nekatus Lots of bug reports and chatter in discord that rock drakes aren’t spawning on unofficial maps. Wondering if some ini setting needs to be added.

I hate hate hate hate hate AI, really. But I love how the AI makes a more medieval styled version out of the ARK flak armor.
