Do you think a Looter Shooter with the ARPG seasonal model would work? Seems like the two genres are functionally the same; level up, spec a build, grind loot to get more powerful. And yet every Looter Shooter is a continuous model while ARPGs reset every few months.

Why is the looter shooter space so cursed? Destiny is a massive hit, but plagued by poor management. Outriders was a sleeper hit, but not enough content. Anthem was so hyped and fell flat at launch. Redfall was launched under baked. Phenomenal genre that can’t seem to win :/
