I have to be honest... a sign like this would probably make me turn around and leave. 😬 I walked up to what looked like a classic little diner. Warm lights, cozy booths, checkerboard floors, the kind of place that feels like it's been serving the neighborhood forever. Then I noticed the sign on the front window. It basically said that if you're not planning to leave at least a 25% tip, you shouldn't order food. And just like that, the whole vibe changed. Don't get me wrong—I tip. I have no problem rewarding good service, and I know restaurant staff work hard. But seeing a minimum tip requirement posted on the door before I've even sat down feels a little different. A tip is supposed to be something you choose to leave based on the experience. When it's presented as an expectation before the meal even starts, it begins to feel less like a tip and more like an admission fee. What surprised me most was the tone. The diner looked welcoming. The sign didn't. Maybe they're just being honest about wanting customers to support the staff. Or maybe a message like that ends up pushing away the very people they're trying to attract. So I'm curious... Would a sign requiring a minimum 25% tip make you think twice about eating there, or would you appreciate them being upfront about it?

My 18 year old Facebook account - permanently disabled overnight. My pages 5 in all are gone too. Instagram account as well. Meta account is attached, so also gone. Meta VR and glasses no longer work without this, which makes the products itself unusable. Yesterday I changed my password and created a passkey. Later I saw there was a login from singapore was emailed to me, a chinese account accepted a "friend request", then the account was disabled. I'm sure it's AI that processes it all, and getting to a human agent probably implausible. But they should be able to tell that the account was compromised, but alas, no human agent will intervene. And I am locked out permanently. This is the power these tech companies have. To permanently affect you and kill anything you have done, created, built, or posted on their platform. They can't be trusted. Not with your data, not with your personal information. I guess it was time to #deletefacebook

My one son still has his permit and my older son has one speeding ticket that he went to whatever drivers course was but it was five miles over. Now his family is calling my phone, begging me to change my story so he doesn't face felony fraud charges. They claim he just panicked because his insurance premium is already too high, and jail will ruin his life. Should I press full charges to punish his lying, or drop it since his truck insurance will cover my car damage?

A man accidentally backed his truck into my car at a crowded gas station yesterday afternoon. Before I could even get out, he jumped out of his cabin and started screaming that I hit him from behind. He didn't realize that my car is equipped with a high-definition, 360-degree dashcam that recorded the entire incident.
