Matthew continues to trend up as a competitive strike thrower with real pitchability. The fastball plays in the zone with life, and both breaking balls spin north of 2500 rpm with sharpness and depth, giving him a legitimate swing and miss weapon in the slider. The changeup rounds out a true three pitch mix, and the ability to sequence and compete stands out.
