Sorry for the misunderstanding, I was addressing one of your points, not all of them. Specifically, the notion you reiterated here that “A simplistic style is easier to manipulate in terms of what you can get away with.” And as I said, Ai is already changing that where you will be able to manipulate more complex styles and get away with just as much but you seem to be caught up on the AI comparison image I shared even though that was just one example to my primary point that I find the fundamental studio Ghibli base art style (not the animation or execution) plain and uninspired. There are many art styles that are more complex and detailed than Ghibli’s that do not go all the way to the AI image example I gave that can easily satisfy all your assumptions about the benefits/need of simplicity for expression and so on, an assertion I regard as an assumption at this point because we have not seen more detailed AI art animated to its best and final results that the technology will unlock yet. Time will tell on that front. Cheers ^_^

Depends on your metric for “better”. You cannot animate the right version the way you can the left. Even if it was in full 3d rig, the right side will not deliver emotion the same way the left one does. For someone who isnt an artist, or knows how animation works, the right is “better” because people associate detail with better. But that isnt the case. If you zoom out, detail isnt lost on the left. You can still make out the characters. On the right, things blend together and become less clear. You also cannot depict squash/squish/exaggeration on the right one the way you can on the left. The human brain wont let you do it and maintain quality, people would mock it and not touch it. But because of the lack of detail on the left, you can get away with far more. Theyre 2 completely different art styles that serve different purposes and comparing them like this is silly.

I don’t share much about my Web3 journey, but lately, it’s been tough. The space has never felt this hard, even during the bear market. I lost six figures in the past month, but I’ve learned valuable lessons. No matter how much you make, always take profits, cash out, and be grateful—even if it’s just $100. Losing almost 90% of my portfolio isn’t easy, but I’ll keep going. Didn’t get selected in any AVAX presale, which could’ve motivated me again, but we never give up. At almost 21, I’ve learned so much. Time to grind back from almost zero. I’ve done it twice, and I’ll do it again. I’m still handling collabs and forever grateful for the love from my communities. I’m also open to joining more communities as a team member or collab manager and proving my worth. Let’s connect and grow together. 💪❤️
