Only 36 girl students were officially registered online, but more than 76 names appeared in the alleged fake register. At the time of the raid, not a single student was reportedly present. Bags, trunks, and belongings said to belong to around 100 missing students were found. Large quantities of Urdu religious books and a donation box were also reportedly recovered. Police are investigating the alleged fraud and possible child safety concerns.
