@ditterhansen Most aid sent to countries has some salting away by officials, it's just the nature of the beast, sadly. It's just something countries that send aid figure into the money they send.

All the excuses and recriminations re Afghanistan failure are fertile.. Now they say former govt and leaders allegedly had “salted away” aid meant for its people.. If so, then why on Earth is that just suddenly discovered, published now? A bit late in the day methinks..
