Unofficially - Alabama didn’t run the ball well in their A-Day game and honestly - it’s not surprising that they didn’t… Here are the UNOFFICIAL stats: T. Brown - 5 carries, 25 yards R. Scott - 3 carries, 28 yards D. Hill - 10 carries, 32 yards K. Riley - 9 carries, 9 yards A. Dear - 4 carries, 3 yards Let’s compare it to a Saban-led rushing team…idk…maybe 2019’s version of Alabama Football. UNOFFICIAL A-Day 2019 Rushing via RollBamaRoll: B. Robinson - 11 carries, 42 yards N. Harris - 9 carries, 25 yards C. Townsend - 4 carries, 30 yards J. Waddle - 1 carry, 8 yards J. Ford - 6 carries, 2 yards If you can infer anything at all here, it’s that you can’t. A-Day is a practice! How many times have we seen a player Pop-off in A-Day never to be heard from again? Agiye Hall comes to mind. The trend, however, shows some growth. Not necessarily in the numbers (which aren’t an accurate predictive value) but in how it looked on the field. Given the assumption that the defense is as stout as we hope - it certainly looked better than the Tide looked on New Year’s Day in the Rose Bowl. It looked more comfortable at times and that aligns with what Kalen DeBoer has been saying. These stats are unofficial - I honestly can’t remember how Alabama’s run game looked in the 2019 A-Day game, but honestly it doesn’t necessarily matter bc it isn’t a good benchmark for season expectations either way. @NFL_DovKleiman All a while our fan base has to air through this soft ass team all year long. DeBoer and Grubb better step it up or it’s over for them in December. We are a s soft trenches team and it’s embarrassing

NEWS: Auburn transfer Filip Jović has committed to UCLA, agent Miško Ražnatović told DraftExpress. The 6'9, 21-year-old Serbian freshman averaged 6.3 points and 3.9 rebounds in 18 minutes per game. Was outstanding down the stretch in Auburn's NIT championship run.

@TheMillersEdge From afar and the couch so take it for what it’s worth, it would appear that we lost the monsters factor and also lost the line of scrimmage game since Cochran left. Now that’s from a fans perspective but hard to deny we’ve lost in the trenches since he’s been gone

This one is confusing. Not sure if he is referring to competition analytically or just a “spirit” of competition but I must say, Coach Ballou and his staff do a great job at monitoring and tracking numbers in the weight room, utilizing technology to measure various data that directly encourages competition in far more areas than just the traditional max weight being used. They do this with the help of technology such as cameras and monitors at each platform, immediately sharing data and even past measurements. They also plaster results all over the weight room monitors. In regards to the training itself, I’ve always been impressed with the newer dynamics that they’ve adopted under Coach Ballou because it appears to be even more applicable to what is done on the field. Can’t touch as much on the competitive environment aspect as I had Cochran as my strength coach while in college, but from the time I’ve spent in the weight room as of recent, it’s appeared to have that competitive aspect.
Eleven Warriors@11W

Earl Little Jr. says the level of competition at Ohio State is different than it was at Alabama. “At Alabama, we didn't compete in the weight room how we do here. Literally with everything you‘re doing at Ohio State, you’re gonna compete, and you have to be your best every single day,” Little said.

This guy played for Saban, not DeBoer. If you didn’t compete in the weight room under Saban, that feels like an indictment on yourself.

@DavidShuster @UMich @umichbball I would love to see exact numbers of all schools to verify your findings. You know what you can see is all BS and tons of money is going unverified so your numbers are 💩

Sorry to break it to all the @UMich haters and others jealous of UM’s academic and athletic success… But @umichbball payroll this year ranked #7 in the BigTen. Sure, $ helps. But coaching, culture, hard work, and intelligence matter more. #GoBlue #Leadersandbest

Tulsa was called for a 5-second violation on an inbounds play with 8 seconds to go, up three on Auburn. The Golden Hurricane nearly popped the champagne bottle to celebrate its third NIT Championship. I replayed it 4 times & never got close to a full 5 seconds. 🤷🏼‍♂️
