🌳 Wednesday, April 20, Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22 @ Volgenau Farm: We are seeking 15 volunteers (must be 18+ due to terrain) per shift from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. to plant around 400 native trees and shrubs at a property in Fauquier County.

🌳 Thursday, April 14 and Friday, April 15 @ Lane’s Farm: This is a BIG planting (725 native trees) in Culpeper County. We are seeking 50+ volunteers per shift from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m., plus 2 volunteers per shift for coordination and check-in, and photographers.

🌳 Friday, April 8 @ Bonny Brook Farm: We are looking for a check-in volunteer, event photographer and 7 tree-planters to help plant 55 native trees and shrubs to enhance water quality and wildlife habitat in Fauquier County! There will be one shift from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Today's featured farmer is the Fauquier Education Farm. FEF has a dual focus: offering agricultural education & growing produce for local food banks. @VaFarmBureau recently highlighted their sweet potato harvest on Real Virginia.
