tbh Red's Masters model has a lot of small issues I've mentioned before but even if they were fixed for a full game, the shading feels like a blurry imitation of his lighter palette from that era they also rly lack Sugimori's distinct lineart from his watercolor work in 3D, something I can't imagine in 3D with his rougher lines from the 2000s x.com/Lewchube/statu…

honestly the ideal modern Pokemon game aesthetic is Sugimori's mid-2000s key art but idk how you'd translate his lineart or shading to 3D

@GiveMeBanHammer It's a lot worse than that. They could've called and asked her. There's Korean staff who speak English and could explain it. There's even an ENGLISH BRANCH for crying out loud. And they chose to buckle without investigating. Hell they announced it on their Japanese account.

The incident with Kronii and losing her VA role has shown me that absolutely stupid and ridiculous snowflake behaviour really can take place just about anywhere nowadays. This time it is with SOME Korean Netizens. So the full context and story to be best of my understanding...Kronii did her usual dead inside narration of games she played, one of those games is called "Eternal Return", which is a Korean Battle Royale MOBA. During that 2021 Stream, Kronii made her usual Dad-jokes, namely the "Boar pun", where she said the boar was "Boar-ing". She also made another similar joke with a tire, "tire-ing". So basically, Kronii being usual Kronii. For some reason though, the usual Kronii puns and jokes upsetted the Korean fans of the game, because according to them "Kronii making those puns and sounding so tired means she is throwing shade at Eternal Return". In other words, they made fanfiction of what they thought Kronii meant, and held a grudge over it for at least 4 years. So fast-forward to today - when Kronii was expected to voice a character for Eternal Return, the Korean playerbase apparently pressured the devs to kick her out of the role. Which the devs did, Kronii was unceremoniously booted from the role and obviously it came as a huge shock and disappointment to her. So the whole manufactured outrage stemmed from: -Tribalism for a game -Some lost in translations and jokes not landing -Mob pressure and cancel culture So now, the game is getting large amounts of negative reviews. Honestly, its expected. The devs bent to a cancel mob, victimised someone over JOKES AND PUNS...and now they are paying the price.
