Being a straight male furry is so hard :/ It feels like everyone is so insistent on keeping furry for only gay people . Everyone I talk to is so unwelcoming when they find out that I’m straight, it feels like I can’t make any real friendships cause everyone wants me to be gay.

@RedPixelOne Just take it fromMe when I say this, but I get the frustration when you spend hours on something and a simple thing gets way more interaction But don’t feel bad about the numbers , you made something really cool! Sadly if it’s not porn in your face people just scroll past it.

This is why i start to really tire of social media. the post on the left took 10 mins to render 5 mins to set up 15. mins. got over 5k views, post2 took 1 hr to set up, 2 hrs to render the finalized version 3 hrs Total a bit over 370 views. i like the 2nd one 100 times more

@RedPixelOne Also, intention. Post1 takes place on a bed, in a futuristic house at bright day. The viewer knows blushing + bed + furry = love and emotional without having to think. Post2 looks like from a video game about war, and war is negative, that viewers aren't like to pay attention.

@RedPixelOne One has blush/open mouth and "thirst" qualities (probably mostly unintentional, but the audience sees what it wants). The other is actual art that does not solicit or have accidental thirst qualities, which the majority of the furry fandom can't fathom or appreciate anymore.

@RedPixelOne I know the pain, il try to promote things and art, videos i worked hours on and all the editing, barely does 100 likes, a random guy whit no followers post a pic of a zipper 1k likes… I don’t get this platform anymore
