Every DI program needs $$- SO- why the heck was the Bradley NIL Collective shutting downClosing membership right off the bat, turning willing donors away? I heard from one long time BU donor who emailed the Collective and was told they didn't need his $- effectively not welcome.

@RedbirdRecon Started early because 3 yrs experience on a very young team But ask yourself why he lost the starting spot then all his playing time The answer is obvious even if you want to deny it.

Burch was still starting for Bradley on January 24. I'm not saying it wasn't a bad breakup. I'm saying Coach Wardle saw value for a long time.

@xb7 He earned plenty of playing time for a majority of the season. He must've done something right at some point.

@RedbirdRecon playing time is earned in practice Brian Wardle's practices are NOT easy- but all his successful players from walk-ons to Rienk Mast to Duke Deen to Malevy Leons praise Wardle's coaching if unwilling to work hard in practice - then it affects every aspect of the team's success..

@RedbirdRecon Yes, Joe. But, you need to know more context with what happened; something that should never happen. DB has offensive skills that any team might covet. He was a 30+ ppg scorer in high school. And he was not run off. He chose to leave.

Today was a great day for the Bradley-ISU rivalry, but a bad day for Demarion. I hope he isn’t reading this stuff online. Most of it is playful but a lot has been a little too far over the top. Do I want him to succeed at ISU? No. But I wouldn’t say I’m rooting for him to fail.

@RedbirdRecon Look at our record post his “benching” (take the rumors for it as you should) the team improved drastically… still very flawed. Overall he was not a fit for Wardle. He may be for Pedon. But, to call it a steal is laughable… it was not like Bradley was desperate to retain him

Illinois State needed positional size and athleticism. Burch is that. He’s also a streaky scorer/shooter, bad defender, and is not good at creating for others. ISU still needs a PG so maybe they’ll go pay for Montana Wheeler

@bbbbbbb151217 He played some good ball early in the season and started every game in January except for one. Coach Wardle must've seen something!
