Because for @ORE to shine $SOL must do well.
$ORE bet everything they had on Solana and imo opinion that’s the smartest move they made because Solana can die 10x and will rise 100x it has been doubted, tested and proven.

I tried mining $ORE for the first time, and ngl, it feels mining a digital commodity and you are like inside a mining tunnel which they called "grid".
This is mining is a business.
Holding some for now as I think its a better SOV play than $ZEC or $BTC.

Since launch, Ore Protocol has repurchased ~$29m worth of $ORE, equivalent to roughly 7.6% of Pumpfun's cumulative buybacks (~$380m). ORE’s philosophy breaks from the SoV pack because it asks:
Can you create a standard unit without granting anyone the ability to weaponize issuance or settlement?
The answer is only yes if:
– The mint contract can’t be upgraded
– No account can be frozen
– No admin can rewrite balances
– The rules apply identically to the founder and the newest miner
So, in summary:
Lock the mint.
Erase the master keys.
Make the ledger indifferent, even to its creators.
That’s the real revolution ORE is forging.
Not faster transactions, not cheaper fees…
but monetary exit from coercive architecture.
The ORE mint program is frozen.
Not even its creator can now change max issuance or max emissions rate.
Do with this information what you will.
An SoV is a belief system. But the belief has to be earned. And ORE has earned mine.
