Dear @beercruncher, Look how awesome these medallions look (VS Tap Handles). 1. Easier to read (especially in a dark bar) 2. WAY Cheaper than a tap handle. 3. Lovely, uniform look. Very classy. Better in every way. Let's all do these moving forward in the U.S 🍻

It's Thursday, so we find a hill, and we die on it🍻 This week's hill: There has yet to be a good digital beer menu that beats a cool analog beer menu at a bar or brewery. They're just...not nearly as good. I love digital solutions, but they're not there yet for beer menus.

Your beer brand can't be all things to all people. It's gotta stand for something specific, meaningful, and high-quality. I think we're finally going back to the days of a dialed-in portfolio of beers that customers can come to rely on. Just really, really good beer.

My dad, who's nearly 70, just sent me a picture of the beer menu of the brewery he's visiting for the first time. There are at least 45 different beers available (and probably more) 45... Folks. That's too many beers. That number should be 12...maybe 15. 🤦🏼‍♂️

@Artifact_Scotty Interesting take. I find that good quality ultimately wins out in the long run. Local can be a tie breaker when quality is equal. Local can be a good reason for trial Local can give the space for forgiveness while a small biz figures it out. But its rarely a full replacement

Locally made beer is not inherently better I’ve always hated the “drink local” marketing angle from craft brewers, it focuses on the wrong things

Honest question: Why do SO MANY breweries use the term "liquid"? It's sterile, corporate sounding, and frankly wrong. "Great liquid" or "The liquid in the can has to meet our standards..." If it's beer, call it beer. Beer. Beer. Beer is good. I love beer.
