I think my suspicions re: things going (badly) sour at Multicoin may be correct. There is a clear disconnect between what the firm is doing and @KyleSamani's views. It feels extreme! As and example, the firm is bullish and buying $HYPE and Kyle hates it. Etc etc. Also, whilst their Fund 1 and 2 were the best on the market (100x plus/15x), I got this unverified information on fund 3. It's a mess. Per the below it may be trading below the initial! For the record, I wanted to invest in Fund 3 after being asked to invest in Fund 2 - I was kept out - I was told my money wasn't good - they wanted more institutional capital. Poor institutions.... Also, the firm has completely refined its thesis. For years everyone else was wrong, Depin was the flavour - now its not even in the thesis! multicoin.capital/2026/02/06/mul… Lastly, Kyle is a really smart guy, always has been. I find it impossible to believe that he "just realized" that blockchain is just a ledger system.... It smells more and more like a "bad leaver" scenario with a restraint of trade that prohibits him from playing in crypto. Again , all of this is my personal view and some is speculation...I may be completely wrong!
