@ElPredestinato Leclerc was just shown once more that he isn't god. He can't be, he is just human & an exceptional driver. He can't overcome all the deficits alone, now a 30hp engine deficit, although he does this ALMOST every race with getting podiums by driving that car on the absolute edge.

Don’t get it twisted btw, despite the stupid mistake, Leclerc is still the best driver on the grid, and no amount of “Kimi is going to do xyz before Leclerc” rage bait posts can change that. 6-8 race to survive with this engine before we can actually start our season 🇲🇨

@brakeboosted My racing heart belongs to Charles despite the mistake which still hurts me today. Seeing him drive this car on the absolute limit, sliding like crazy, extracting what it shouldn’t be capable of with that hp deficit - exceptional. We need to back him & give him what he needs.

When it's all said and done, I think the personal performance from Leclerc would have been a major talking point even if the podium was ultimately lost on the last lap. Keeping a Mercedes and McLaren at bay, cars capable of being 20s ahead of a Ferrari, was an impressive feat. Not a perfect performance by any means, there were some mistakes, but it reassures the driver and the car that it can be pushed to the limit for nearly 57 laps and remain competitive despite the power deficit. The good aspects of the weekend will be forgotten, which is understandable given the circumstances, but there were many positives to take.

@brakeboosted A 30hp deficit is quite a bit. It's almost a miracle that Charles is fighting for podiums with it. Solid car base & driver input makes it almost up. For this I take my hat off despite the mistake in the end. We need to put him in a space where he doesn't have to overcompensate.

If we take Ferrari's reported 30 hp (~5.13%) ICE power deficit over Mercedes (~585 hp) at face value and assume a conservative lap-averaged power sensitivity of 0.1s per 1% increase in power, they are losing ~0.513s per lap on engine power alone.

@F1 It's tough being a Leclerc fan. He always is showing us the signs of excellence. He leads the race. Then Ferrari's engine deficit put him in P3. Strategy could have bern better, too. The pitstop relatively slow. Then Charles wanted to keep the podium and tried too much. I'm done.

@GazzettaFerrari It's also part of the truth that Charles has to compensate an engine deficit. It's down to him and the competitive chassis that we can fight these cars with 30hp more. So Charles: don't be too harsh on yourself. The new engine will secure you don't have to overcompensate anymore.

@FanaticsFerrari Yes, Charles. It was your mistake but it was psychological understandable. You wanted to keep that podium and attack Piastri again. The main problem is that you have to fight a losing battle because of the obvious engine deficits compared to the Merc powered cars & even the Ford.

@GazzettaFerrari In the end, this could have been 0 points because of the crash. I'm just disappointed with everything right now. With the 11 upgrades which are not good enough to keep a P1 or a podium. With Charles doing that mistake because he tried to keep the podium. With the strategy also.

@F1 It's tough to be a Lec & Ferrari fan. There is so much potential but always something to not extract it. Want to remind he lead the race at the beginning. Then engine deficit was showing, all the Merc powered cars. Then Charles wanted to keep podium & did a mistake. I'm so done.

@FanaticsFerrari The unsafe condition was not even visible. Only Charles' driving with cutting corners told that there might be a problem with the suspension. He did not gain an advantage & lost places. If they want they can penalize him for leaving the track too often but not for the other stuff

@FanaticsFerrari The mistake of Charles was understandable. He wanted to keep the podium and in my opinion went on throttle too early in the corner. With these worn out tyres with no grip it had to happen. But the real cause is that he has to fight a losing battle because of engine deficit.

And it of course triggers mistakes as Charles wanted to keep the podium. On these worn out tyres it was impossible to follow Piastri closely & mistake came.

@F1 Charles is always there. But someone else is always faster. But never the same team. It's always either Red Bull, Mercedes or McLaren. He is always beating one or two of them but never all three of them. It's frustrating. I pray for him being P1 in his Ferrari soon. ❤️

Until then we need to get those podiums as Charles does at the moment. Good job from him. I hoped for more after 11 updates but if you can't touch the engine this is most likely the best possible.

@brakeboosted I still think we have it in the car. I liked what I have seen from the car today. SQ3 was the worst lap from Charles, I think. FP1, SQ1, SQ2 were great from him & absolutely competitive. He had two P1's. I remain optimistic we will see true pace in another session this weekend.

@leclercsletters I honestly think it's in the car and he just didn't have a perfect lap in SQ3 as he had in FP1, SQ1 and SQ2. If I'm right we will see the true pace in another session this weekend. I liked what I have seen from the car so far and I remain optimistic about the updates.

@FanaticsFerrari Honestly, Charles lead 2 of the four sessions and came into P2 in another one. P4 in SQ3 was the worst position. I think his final lap in SQ3 could have been better and there is more in the car. I'm optimistic we will see the true pace of the car in another session this weekend!
