Johannesburg Water is aware of the major burst at Elm Ave cnr Jacaranda Ave, Craigavon. The team will be dispatched this morning to attend to repairs. Affected areas include parts of: Craigavon and Maroeladal. Alternate supply will be provided to Fourways life hospital. ^P

#JoburgUpdates Water has been restored at 100%. The team has opened all valves in the area. We continue to monitor repairs as network stabilizes. Teams will continue to flush hydrants, especially in those higher lying areas where system has not fully normalized yet. ^P

The burst at Oak Avenue Fourways has reoccured, causing no water to various parts of Fourways and surrounding areas. The special services team is isolating the bulk main in order to effect repairs. The worksite will need to be drained before repairs commence.
