Tonight's officiating was embarrassing. Highlighted by penalising the Warriors for a play that happened two plays prior, yet not awarding a penalty for a high shot on Wayde Egan that left the number 9 with blood coming from his mouth. It's not the calls, it's the inconsistency.

@samhewat Yeah well aware of how a salary cap works. It’s just unacceptable for the fan. Should be serious cap dispensation for the club or a player swap at a minimum. JFH is breaking a contract to replace a guy who hasn’t fulfilled his last two contracts. That’s where the game is at.

@bopman1 @martindevlinnz @NZRugby If you miss a week through injury or suspension they just count that (provided they leave the team environment for the week). All Blacks enforced rest is just there in case a bloke is fully fit for the whole season and doesn’t play 15 straight games

Not ideal news for the Crusaders: Will Jordan has an ongoing shoulder issue which is under review. An update on his status will be made once that review process is complete.

Quite a nasty rumour doing the rounds across New Zealand about Cam Roigard and the reason he missed selection for the quarter final. Can tell you it’s completely false, not one ounce of truth. Just shoulder arms to that one if you come across it.
