@jimwaterson I worked for an MP for a number of years. The number of emails received about bees always massively outnumbered the emails about refugees which I always found strange.

As one person who works for an MP said to me the other day: "We’ve had more emails demanding we save the Afghan dogs than emails demanding we save the Afghan people. It’s very disconcerting."

The #BBC coverage of Eriksen was disgraceful. 5+ minutes and multiple shots of him receiving CPR, and what looked to be his distraught wife. I've never filed a complaint with OFCOM, but I will for this. Outrageous.
