@Sadie_NC @earthing5000 They are trusting, that is different than being "not smart."

This should be the final straw in dealing with the clown car that Great Britain has become. They've gotten rid of free speech, they're trying to get rid of jury of your peers, and can't even muster a token effort to defend their own possessions. There are more reliable partners out there and that's where our military and intelligence assets in GB should be relocated to.

'All Ed Davey has done is criticise Trump and alienate the special relationship, that's unserious politics isn't it?!'
@CamillaTominey questions Liberal Democrats’ Cabinet Office Spokesman, Lisa Smart MP about Ed Davey's rhetoric on President Donald Trump.

@codeofvets I'm was partial to the 2 BBQ beef selections, but I see your point.

Was Biden more of a turnip in office than @SenMcConnell is, or is Mitch’s cognitive decline worse?

@_CryMiaRiver Hosh, people lie about matters that are crucial to the health of our children. Who would ever guessed.

Me: "Why did you sign a statement calling 'gender affirming care' for minors medically necessary?"
Godfather of evidence-based medicine: "WHAT! That's RIDICULOUS! If you can find the words medically necessary in my statement I'll have to jump off a bridge."
Me: *pulls up his statement and reads the paragraph where it says "gender affirming care" is medically necessary*
Godfather of evidence-based medicine: "Oh, I didn't read that part."
Surely one of the most humiliating moments in all of podcast history.

This is actual brotherhood. NHL star Johnny Gaudreau was killed by a drunk driver before he could play for this Olympic team.
When Team USA won gold yesterday, they didn’t just hold his jersey. They pulled his two babies onto the ice and put them right in the center of the world's biggest stage. A completely heart-wrenching moment

Shall our originalism be indeed too weak to defeat our enemies but merely a noose by which to hang ourselves?
I wrote this piece for @theammind last summer, and I have been thinking about it again in light of the tariff decisions. americanmind.org/salvo/conserva…
I wrote then that the Supreme Court is "selective and passive in vindicating rights." There are numerous unconstitutional monstrosities that SCOTUS tolerates and accepts as doctrine (e.g. the welfare state, the civil rights regime, sprawling federal bureaucracies far beyond constitutional enumerated powers, etc.). The Court can say - either by positive declaration or simply by passive acceptance - that all of these are kosher, but @POTUS may NOT find authority in an ambiguously-worded statute to impose tariffs.
Why the selective boundary drawing? Why the selective constitutionalism? The manifest hypocrisy of even the "originalist" courts is nauseating. It seems that constitutionalism simply exists at this point to bind the hands of the Right so they can't save the country from the Left.

Of course high taxes drives up the price of the taxed commodity, maybe this moron knows that maybe he doesn't, but when it comes to energy his claim that prices in Britain are controlled by the global market ignore the fact of the resources in the north sea that could be completely controlled and used by Great Britain. You don't mind telling your people that they have to live a certain way, you can do the same thing with your resources if you weren't committed to the decline of the west.

@carolinedowney_ @CNN I commend your tolerance and patiences with a pure idealogue.

Members of Congress are not underpaid. Like many state legislatures, Congress was meant to be a part-time job for people who had other full-time employment. Keep government small and put people in charge of it who are not dependent on government spending to make a living. I reject the idea that we have to let these guys steal because otherwise they're just not paid enough.

@KathleenWinche3 I've owned several Mercedes that are older than five years, one that was 15 and I've still haven't received that $10,000 repair bill this clown is talking about, so I'm not wasting my time with the rest of his BS.
