We just heard Jennifer & Daniella from The @SeatCenter speak about helping young people in Schenectady. And we learned about how we can help create “family” in the community for individuals that don’t necessarily have familial connections/pathways to employment/or even a 1st job.

Frank Quinn literally “schooled” us on global root causes of poverty and “KES” - knowledge empowerment systems today. He brings tech (computers, tablets, internet access and MicroSD storage) into poor communities worldwide to help with access to knowledge and educational content.

Join us Thurs 12n at Turf Tavern - This week’s speaker is Frank Quinn, a computer genius/volunteer extraordinaire that is sure to present some insights on world poverty, as well as some possible technology/solutions that can be more sustainably utilized to tackle root causes.

Schenectady Rotarians welcomed @SUNYSchenectady student, Sara Nava, to today’s meeting. Sara, a Biology major who hopes to become a pharmacist. Sara and her family emigrated from Venezuela. She spoke eloquently about her family, her aspirations and her home country.
