Wigtown Book Festival has come full circle as its original birthplace has become its new HQ, just in time for the 2025 event from 26 September to 5 October.

It's the end of the world as we know it - @TheScotsman @heraldscotland @ScotNational all report on the @WigtownBookFest (tongue in cheek) special events on How to Survive the End of the World by adventurer and author Robert Twigger.

Our Brothers In Cloth (see today's I newspaper) has had a superb reception from critics and audiences for its bold tackling of the issue of clerical child abuse in the Irish Catholic Church. It's on at Studio Five, Assembly Rooms, George Square until 25 August. #EdFringe2025
