@SportsAndBets6 @enosarris If you take a look at his pitch type related arm angle he's releasing every pitch at approx. the same angle. The only pitch which is outside of his normal release is the cutter which he elevates slightly. mlbpitchprofiler.com/?pitcher=676106

Emerson Hancock lowered his arm angle & increased the ride on his 4s to where it’s only an inch below ave, despite having lowest arm angle among RH SP. Gotta click that arm angle thing on savant to see true interaction of movement & arm angle. Everything’s sideways except the 4s.

@jajaregal @17776ers Given his lack of ability at shortstop came more so from atrocious reaction time and foot speed than lack of physical ability, I think he probably would have been quite bad at just about any position, though.

@jajaregal @17776ers He would need to earn approx. 5 additional fielding runs above average per season to make up for the approx. -5 runs from moving down the spectrum. Considering he was about a -10 fielder on average throughout his career he would gain about 0.5 WAR as an average 2b or 3b.
