@aleabitoreddit They bragged about weaponizing uranium. Plus having 7,000 missiles they could simultaneously launch at Israel if they choose. They lied about the range of their missiles which can reach Europe. They have zero problem killing people for having different opinions.

Does Trump know… He just blew up the world’s energy supply chains for attempting wack-a-mole with Iranian leadership? It’s not just about “US is fine”. Guess where all the upstream precursors, advanced semiconductors, and others are made? Almost nothing is actually “Made in America” yet. We completely rely on all our partners from Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea for rare earths to foundries. The clear beneficiaries of this War: 1. Israel 2. Russia Maybe even Iran long term since they can use China to rebuild infrastructure and they’re richer from oil / tariffs on the strait. We’re supposed to be strengthening all our allies, not ******* them over to help Russia and Israel. Harsh reality is “America First” policy also includes securing America’s global supply chains. It’s still not too late: But you can’t just blow up the rest of the world’s energy trade, then just go out and say US alone is fine.

Everyone involved in the asylum system knows and understands the claims are all fake: the aliens who make them, the free NGO lawyers who file them, the judges who hear them, the federal officers who process them. Everyone. Everyone knows the real reason these migrants come. Even a small amount of US welfare is 10x what they would earn in their home countries. If they have a “birthright” child it’s enough welfare to support their entire family back home for a lifetime. Entire foreign economies are sustained by US welfare remittances. It’s industrial-scale remittance farming.
Bill Melugin@BillMelugin_

Classic “asylum seeker” here. In such danger and peril that she’s going to wait until Trump leaves office to try to get into the US. 95%+ of the migrants we interviewed at the border from 2021-2024 openly admitted on camera they wanted work/a better life. That’s not asylum.

Pezeshkian’s letter is a tactical masterpiece of information warfare. By asking if Americans want to fight for the last taxpayer dollar for Israel, he’s hitting the exact isolationist nerve Trump campaigned on. He’s not talking to the White House, he’s talking to the 2026 mid-term voters. This is 4D chess in the digital age.

As an American, I can say that the majority of us are completely against this war, which is absolutely being waged on behalf of Israel. The people of Iran don't deserve the horrific attacks they have suffered, and I hope we can find a peaceful resolution. Unfortunately, so long as Israel remains, I don't see peace as likely. Regardless, your words ring true, as does your sincerity. Peace and strength to the Iranian people.

Trump said we need Greenland because we can’t trust NATO to let us use it in a war. He said we need a battleship 100x more powerful to keep straits open. Europe laughed. Trump was right.

Oil Is Down. The Situation Isn’t Resolved. Oil dropped from $118 to below $100 in a day. Stocks moved up. The market is assuming things are calming down. That assumption is early. The US has said it may step back soon, but there is no agreement in place to restore normal movement through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has not agreed to a full reopening either. The latest signals suggest restricted access, possibly under its own terms. The broader ceasefire framework is still not accepted. The key issue is not statements. It is flow of crude. The Strait of Hormuz carries close to 20 percent of global oil supply. In normal conditions, around 130 to 140 vessels pass through daily. Right now, it is closer to five. There is a backup of over 220 Vessels inside The Straight of Hormuz right now holding over 250 Million barrels of oil. That gap matters more than any speech. Shipping does not restart instantly. Insurers are still pricing in risk. Tanker operators are not sending vessels back at scale without clarity. Even if tensions ease, it takes time before physical volumes return to normal. So the current price move is based on expectations, not actual recovery in supply. If traffic through Hormuz does not pick up meaningfully, the supply situation remains tight. And if that continues, prices will adjust again. The only thing to watch here is simple. Are ships moving, or not. Right now, they are not.

@lannywarwick2 @johnkonrad No, it wasn't. Even the US's own intelligence services said that there was no bomb or risk of getting one. That was Iran's deterrence stategy: don't fuck with us and we won't make a bomb. The rest is theater. Listen to your own America First echo chamber.

Spent all day in DC talking to Navy and military sources. My Hormuz Hypothesis stands: the Navy appears to be in no rush to reopen the strait. The question remains: what is this administration trying to leverage? Nobody I talked to is even willing to discuss that until European politicians and media stop calling Americans war criminals and monsters. And guess what? Even most liberals I talk to are getting tired of it. The only people pleased with the anti-American rhetoric vomiting out of Europe are the far left and a large segment of PhDs in academia and think tanks. I have no idea when the strait will reopen. But if the price is a modicum of cooperation and respect for everything America has done for decades to keep Europe safe, the strait could stay closed for months, or turned into a toll booth for years, because the majority of Americans…. and the vast majority of Trump administration officials I’ve talked with… seem fed up with their arrogance.
John Ʌ Konrad V@johnkonrad

Let's unpack this.. What if the White House has no intention of reopening the Strait of Hormuz? What if this war is really about ships & tariffs? I had a long discussion with senior DOE official yesterday on background. I can’t share any details but it’s clear everyone’s Strait of Hormuz calculus is wrong. We need to go back to the drawing boards. That's it. That's the tweet. Now a hypothetical 🧵 with my personal thoughts.

@johnkonrad You broke it; you fix it. Why should Europe clean up after US's completely stupid decision to start a war with Iran? It's not like everyone in the United States short of Lindsey Graham and AIPAC told you it would have disastrous consequences.
