You’re confused about two things.
1. The absence of evidence/explanation is not proof of its opposite.
2. I’m not defending the death of civilians. I think civilian death is awful. I also understand the realities of war despite the fact that they make me sick. It’s called nuance.

Your post implied that the government is made up of people with a unified strategy that would collectively “manipulate” their population. The government doesn’t behave this way. There are some liars in the government. There are some people telling the truth. My job is to be discerning.
