this week, we were able to film a few commercials with a big client extremely grateful but when it came to payment, i got reminded of how much we need crypto. our finance department got a call from their accounts payable this morning, asking for us to confirm our wire/ach info. im also used to 70% working through money onchain. calling them back, we confirmed and they wanted to send a test payment to prevent fraud etc (makes sense). that process will arrive no later than next wednesday... 5 whole days, 120 hours then after that confirmation, we will wait another 1-3 business days for the full amount that entire process could have taken less than 10 minutes using blockchain rails. 7 for communication and the actual transferring of funds would be less than 1 minute. the woman was extremely kind and professional though. it's just that banks are slow as fk. digital money wins.
