Don't why it particularly galls me, but when I have to fix a pickup that occurred within a chapter's first 20 seconds, I want to punch myself...gently.

@d76_harold @DustinTigner As I understand it, some people's have an easier time processing information when it comes in at a faster speed like that. I love real time speed, but different people have different needs of course

I went back to listening to audiobooks at 1x speed because it was distorting my expectation for how a book should be narrated. I'm not good at narrating at the speed of a chipmunk…
