At the #ASTRO25 quick pitch session, Simran Polce, MD (@SimranPolce), presented a novel isotoxic hypofractionated adaptive RT approach for locally advanced lung cancer designed for patients ineligible for standard concurrent chemoradiotherapy. Results: 
➡️ Daily adaptive RT boosted target dose by about 8% 
➡️ Reduced esophagus and proximal bronchial tree exposure 
➡️ Well tolerated with no acute grade 3 toxicities 
➡️ Warrants further research and long-term follow-up #MoffittASTRO25

At #ASTRO25, Simran Polce, MD (@SimranPolce), shared results on quality of life and SBRT in patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Key findings: 
• Among 30 ILD patients with NSCLC, SBRT was generally well tolerated, with one treatment-related fatality and eight additional non-ILD/non-treatment deaths.
• Respiratory adverse events occurred in eight patients; every-other-day regimens were linked to fewer events, while steroid use and proposed dose limits showed no correlation.
• Findings suggest every-other-day SBRT may improve quality of life, though further prospective studies are needed to refine treatment strategies for ILD patients. #MoffittASTRO25

At the #ASTRO25 poster session, Simran Polce, MD (@SimranPolce), shared new data showing radiotherapy can quickly control bleeding in hospitalized patients, improving quality of life and potentially shortening hospital stays. In a study of 126 inpatient consults, RT was feasible in most cases and achieved hemostasis in about 65% of patients. Many required alternative care, pointing to the need for improved consultation and treatment processes. #MoffittASTRO25
