Hundreds of companies use the software company Benevity to connect with nonprofits, allowing employees to donate their time and money, but Benevity’s platform blacklists conservative nonprofits, using as a resource the very same leftist group that now faces charges for hiding its secret payments to Ku Klux Klan members.
The SPLC admitted to funding members of the Klan and other white nationalist groups, claiming that the funding was part of a program supporting “informants” who reported on “violent extremists” and “saved lives.” A Justice Department indictment, however, accuses the SPLC of directing “racist postings,” featuring as “extremists” on its website the same people it was paying, and even supporting an organizer of the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville.

Today my brother teacher @EnochBurke went before a disciplinary appeal panel.
He was suspended from his job and jailed after refusing to accept transgenderism.
What took place today was shocking.
➡️ By law the panel is to be an “informal hearing”.
➡️ When he arrived he was confronted by a top Employment Barrister as well as a Solicitor from a major Dublin law firm.
➡️The lawyers were acting for the school.
➡️ The presence of lawyers at such an appeal is contrary to law and to Department of Education procedures for dealing with appeals.
➡️ Enoch objected to the presence of these lawyers.
➡️ The Chair of the Disciplinary Appeals Panel, Claire Callanan said to Mr Burke: “We may be wrong and you may be right but we are going ahead nonetheless.”
➡️ When Enoch continued to object, he was removed by prison guards.
➡️ When members of his family who were present objected, they were removed by police.
➡️ Enoch Burke was taken back in a prison van to Castlerea prison.
This is an utterly appalling and unbelievable travesty of justice.

The presence of lawyers at such an appeal is contrary to settled law and Department of Education procedures for dealing with appeals. Enoch Burke has now spent over 650 days behind bars after refusing to use they/them pronouns for a student. These are the third Disciplinary Appeal Panel proceedings in relation to Enoch Burke that have ended in shambles.

Today, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Refinery Co., Ltd., a China-based independent teapot refinery. China-based teapot refineries continue to play a vital role in sustaining Iran’s oil economy, and Hengli Petrochemical is one of Iran’s largest customers, having purchased billions of dollars’ worth of Iranian petroleum. Additionally today, OFAC is targeting around 40 shipping firms and vessels associated with Iran’s shadow fleet. Economic Fury continues to disrupt Tehran’s ability to generate the revenue that enables the regime’s reckless terrorist activities.

The old legal system worked very well, but only in the Europe that existed between the end of WW2 and COVID-19 (and in less than five other countries).
It doesn’t work anymore. Legal systems respond to social contracts, and social contracts are, by definition, different in different societies and constantly changing.
However, we are not even applying a different system here. These “mass trials” and the prosecution of the leadership of criminal organizations for the crimes committed by their members are not a legal innovation; they are a recognized doctrine in international law. It is called “command responsibility,” and it was applied by the Allied countries in the Nuremberg Trials.

Rapeseed oil did not exist as a human food in 1960.
It was an industrial lubricant. Used on ships. The erucic acid content was so high that feeding it to rats caused heart lesions within weeks.
In the 1970s, Canadian scientists bred a cultivar with the erucic acid stripped out and rebranded it "canola," short for Canadian Oil Low Acid.
Fifty years later it is in everything you eat, marketed as heart-healthy, and the British population has the worst cardiovascular outcomes in a generation.

Today, the SBA referred 562,000 borrowers to @USTreasury for collection on $22.2 BILLION in potentially fraudulent pandemic-era loans, marking the LARGEST debt referral in SBA history.
The action ends a yearslong de facto amnesty scheme by the Biden SBA, which refused to refer the portfolio to either Treasury or DOJ, even though the loans were both delinquent and internally flagged for suspected fraud.
Under the protection of the Biden Administration, none of the borrowers were compelled to repay their debts and fewer than 1,000 faced any inquiry from law enforcement until today.
This historic referral would not have been possible without the strong support of the White House Anti-Fraud Task Force. SBA is deeply grateful for the leadership of @VP, @AFergusonFTC, and the partnership of both Treasury and DOJ - which now has the files for review.
At the SBA, we will continue working to claw back every dollar of PPP and COVID EIDL funding owed to American taxpayers. And we will work in lockstep with the Task Force to bring accountability to every criminal who defrauded America’s small businesses.
