This scene, both times I’ve seen it in theaters, is one of the only scenes that makes me genuinely cry due the the beauty and artistic nature of it. Seeing it on a phone in the trailer underwhelmed me but on a massive screen man…

I genuinely don’t understand how people think they could market a movie without showing a main character the core of the film is their friendship, Rocky isn’t the plot twist of the movie he’s the heart of it

I think Project Hail Mary has had the single worst marketing campaign I’ve seen in ages. Makes it look like a paint by numbers man in space movie and nothing else.

EPR is the worst owner for these properties, this is a huge loss for people with these home parks

@StationWait The owner of the property does not make every decision. You have to take the operator of the park into account as well. Large investments can be a tug-of-war, but ultimately, if the park is doing well, the operator should have more leverage. We'll see how IAM handles it.

@ScaryHobbit @RyoGrattius My understanding is that VF knows it needs a big attraction to get money and attendance but doesn’t have the park infrastructure to sustain the demand and attendance a big attraction would bring so it’s kind of a catch 22

@StationWait @RyoGrattius None of the sold parks deserve to be bottom-tier, either. Valleyfair literally just needs a new big coaster with inversions. Building one would allow us to remove Excalibur, build out the flood wall, and greatly expand the water park.

@ScaryHobbit @RyoGrattius This. But also DL shouldn’t be a bottom tier park, in fact it’s primed to be an A tier park if not S if they just invested some money for upgrades and marketed it correctly. It’s location, the available land, and the hotel and camp ground on site are huge assets

@RyoGrattius @StationWait EPR owns all these parks, but leases management out to Six Flags and Enchanted. Darian Lake will still be considered bottom-tier by Six Flags, but Enchanted would likely see DL as a strong park in their lineup if they ever decide to acquire the contract.
