@StranglerThing @NBCSPhilly Yea Scotty got kinda thrown right in there. He has experience being that ice level guy in between the benches, but that is entirely different shoulder to shoulder with the play by play. He even expressed how difficult it was during that long stretch with no whistle.

@GoofysConcern @NBCSPhilly Yeah I didn’t like it too much. I GET it. It threw Jim off. He’s known for his voice and this was a HUGE moment. But it seemed cold to do to a guy that isn’t as comfortable as the rest in the booth. It being the last call of the season for them I think had a part in it, too.

@StranglerThing @NBCSPhilly That’s what I saw, then Hartnell attempting to apologize followed by JJ throwing his hands up in frustration, hand to pocket and a cold.. ice cold shoulder. I’ve never seen JJ like that. Much different from Franzke and LA’s booth where Larry barges into home run calls.

Sanheim should have been called for 1) Interference on Mantha, causing him to crash into the goalie, 2) Cross-checking for his unprovoked attack on Kindel, and 3) Game misconduct for being the "third man." 4) Mantha should have been booked for roughing.

So, yeah, it actually does matter, if you want things called.
