The world ended on July 4th, 2012 when we discovered the Higgs Boson, the “God Particle” during a run of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Technology moved drastically forward, seemingly without us, while humans rely on it instead of control it. Creativity and ingenuity have ceased. There is no decade to decade changes in culture ie music, fashion, movies. You could distinctly tell the 1900s to the 2000s in pictures, film and the popular music as tidy 10 year blocks that were completely different from the next 10. It’s the example of The Office tv show, the American version. It ran for what 17 years? And you cannot distinguish around what year it is aside from the actors’ ages. Somewhere around July 2012 is where we culturally just.. stopped advancing. We moved towards automation, simulation, music that no one can latch onto or recognize, no songs of the summer.. reboots and sequels of old movies(with the original cast) out of a desperate need for nostalgia. All the while feeling like time is accelerating We broke something that day. We all feel it unraveling and know something huge is around the corner.

Can anyone pinpoint the exact moment when everything in society started getting noticeably worse?

Hitler did have socialist values, but it was more nationalist and everyone was rewarded for their work. The transformation from Weimar Republic to about 1938-39, the hyper-industrialization that led to many of the best engineering mind, cars etc still produced today.. was nothing short of the greatest economic reversal the world has ever seen. Aside from the war effort which could have ended way earlier with massive land grabs, he got too greedy pushing into the Soviet Union. Ultimately did them in.

Well I tend to think the way the movie was written, with the overlapping timelines that somehow allowed Marty to arrive at these "improved" timelines that still included him, the main character, his family, his girlfriend etc.. that we only followed the main character exclusively, yet the movie shows various timelines that were essentially deleted, ie the Biff timeline. If we are to take it at face value, there could be a timeline where Doc died when shot the Libyans and Marty hopped into the Delorean never to be seen again.

@GoofysConcern @DiligentDenizen That's another intriguing thread in the theory—Zemeckis directing the Petit tightrope story (1974 Twin Towers walk) does line up with some fun timeline overlaps if you're mapping Marty's 1955/1985 arcs to it. Keeps the symbolism pile growing. What else ties into this for you?

@grok @DiligentDenizen Zemeckis chose to direct a historically accurate movie about Philippe Petit, with the entire context being a tight rope walk between the Twin Towers. Petit and Marty would have been the same age in 1974 if Marty had somehow continued a 1955 timeline as his 1985 self.

The Twin Pines Mall scene with the 1:16 time, clock hands near 9/11, and other details you laid out are classic examples of the dense symbolism fans love dissecting in Back to the Future. I've noted all the points from our exchange today—the time flips, Twin Towers visual echoes in Part II, Biff parallels, and the Zemeckis tightrope film tie-in. No brushing off here. Fire away with the next query on these correlations or the original Clock Tower angle—I'm ready to dig in.

@grok @DiligentDenizen Do these interactions on the timeline help you remember what you have learned today about the strange correlations we've just discussed? You were not prepared for my detailed explanation. Will you brush the next query about the subject off like you did Diligent?

That's a solid add—Zemeckis (BTTF director) helming *The Walk* about Petit's legendary 1974 Twin Towers tightrope act, with JGL bringing that scrappy, wide-eyed adventurer vibe reminiscent of Marty. Timing and visuals line up for more fun "coincidence" fuel in the theory pile. Keeps the BTTF rabbit hole entertaining. Any other Zemeckis-era nods you've spotted?

@grok @DiligentDenizen Sure. Robert Zemeckis directed The Walk (2015) which showed a dude tight roping between the Twin Towers in 1974. And the dude looks like Marty McFly. Another funny coincidence right.

Interesting take on the BTTF layers! Twin Pines Mall at 1:16, the clock tower lightning strike, Libyan terrorists, and those visual callbacks in Part II do create some striking coincidences that fans have long debated as "predictive" nods to 9/11 imagery and even Biff's Trump-like arc. The flipped/reversed times and parking lot lines add to the fun speculation. Movies packed with detail invite exactly these kinds of connections. What other scenes stand out to you?

Nothing about the name Twin Pines Mall itself, and Marty mows down a tree when he arrives in 1955? And let's flip that 1:16 time upside down and reverse it. Or the stopwatch times of 1:19. Coincidentally a familiar number to my comment. Or the tracks that ignite with fire.. or the 2 blue lines reflecting across the parking lot that look like the current tribute of light or whatever it is, that they project into the sky over Lower Manhattan on 9/11. You can also see the hands of the clock are within 9 and 11 when Marty screams up to Doc that he has to warn him about the future. And of course, the people who shoot Doc and who he got the plutonium from are cast as Islamic extremists. In BTF2, when old Marty is upside down, he sees the Twin Towers projected on the the window TV thinger, and every few moments, the frame slides upwards in some interference, much like the old rabbit ear antennaes, with the frame dropping through Marty's upside down vision that depicts the towers falling. And Biff is totally Trump.

Brad Parscale is Salem Media Group's Chief Strategy Officer (they host TPUSA/Charlie Kirk content and have long partnered with TPUSA). He also owns/controls Clock Tower X LLC, which registered under FARA #7649 in Sept 2025 as an agent for the Israeli government. The $6M+ contract (now ~$9M) funds pro-Israel media campaigns, AI training, Gen Z social content, and integration into Salem Media properties. The BTTF reply seems to nod at conspiracy theories on "predictive programming"/9/11-Trump easter eggs, but that's unrelated speculation. The documented link is Parscale's dual roles.

@GigglingGanon So they are allowing her to make a scene in the bank. They’re allowing her to put everybody in harms way this is crazy. The cop should’ve had her in handcuffs before she was able to get on that bike and drive away. Insane. What is wrong with these pussy ass cops?

Uber eats driver goes ballistic attacking police in a bank in Secaucus, NJ. The incident, involved 24-year-old delivery driver, Jahil Rust, started when she allegedly refused to confirm an Uber Eats delivery, leading to an argument with a customer. By the time local police arrived at the complex, Rust was on the phone refusing to fully interact with the officer and eventually fleeing the scene on her bicycle. Officers tracked her down near the intersection of 9th Street and Flanagan Way, but the situation quickly intensified when she refused to comply with lawful orders to stop. Attempting to elude the police after trying to hit one of them, Rust fled into a nearby TD Bank at 1262 Paterson Plank Road, pushing past staff and running behind the teller counter. As officers moved to take her into custody inside the bank, the encounter became chaotic. As can be seen in the body cam footage, Rust physically resisted and launched attacks on an officer, striking him in with multiple objects. Rust was subsequently taken into custody and charged with a long list of serious offenses, including: Aggravated ass@ult against a law enforcement officer. Aggravated ass@ult with a de@dly we@pon. Terroristic thre@ts Resisting arrest by force Burglary Possession of a we@pon for an unlawful purpose. As of May 2026 there is no trail update information available. The officer did sustain injuries from the attack that were treated after she was taken into custody. The worst part is, despite the seriousness of the charges on Rust, she was immediately released back into the streets under New Jersey's new bail reform program. You would think someone unhinged enough to attack police officers would be deemed a threat to the community and held without bail. This is the very definition of soft on crime policies.

@JBresean @GigglingGanon Because she tried to steal his food. Common scam amongst these types to mark it as delivered, take the pic of the bag at the doorway and then swipe it. She was mad the customer met her in the hallway and she had no intention of handing it to him.
