@StrixLeshay And if you have an astigmatism swap the dot/magnifier for a 3x prism optic
English

@boredlawyer310 @Darbypathos I’ve seen people run when a gun is flashed. However my father had two things he loves saying when he teaches self defense. If you pull your pistol you need to be ready to use it and every bullet you fire has a lawyer attached to it
English

@StrixLeshay @Darbypathos There's even some nonsense on here about how people have "de-escalated" by flashing their gun. No. If your gun needs to make an appearance, it better be the right time to use it. Treat it like your dick.
English

@boredlawyer310 @Darbypathos Well that makes sense then. My opinion about self defense is people need to work on situational awareness conflict resolution and training with their pistols far more then they do
English

@Darbypathos @StrixLeshay I'm a decent lawyer, I think about these things. I'm a civil litigator, so my LARPing/training also includes thinking these things through.

@KirkFreemanLaw @BlokeOnTheRange Calling your rifle a princess gets a pass for a new trigger

@AlfaMikeNS The entire point of this isn’t about shtf or getting into a rifle fight. The entire point is your average every day joe could be served best with this sort of rifle.
Yes nods are more common but can you name one civilian shooting involving night vision?
English

@StrixLeshay You could not be more wrong. NODs on the consumer market is totally a thing and lots of people use it.
If you really think you're going to get in a rifle fight, you'd better be ready for a night attack from some with proper equipment.
English

@AlfaMikeNS Sure but the chances of that being a thing in our lifetime are low. Like almost non existent low….
English

@StrixLeshay except you'd get shredded by anyone who has any night vision capability
English

@boredlawyer310 Well I’m not talking about just self defense. Maybe you are coyote hunting. Maybe you and some buddies are shooting out to 200 yards on some range.
English

@StrixLeshay It turns out just the red dot is all I need. I can get hits out to 100 yards consistently. The magnifier just makes it even easier. But, I can't imagine being able to explain how taking a shot at a distance greater than 50 yards was "self-defense."

Vampires the following is taken from the chronicles of the order of Saint Hubert.
We didn't know when or even who was the original vampire. All of our records record different names, yet all of them are female. Bastet, Ubasti, Bubastis, Sekhmet, Akivasha, Ailuros, He Qiong, Lamashtu, or even Lilith depending on the source. They have as many names as the vampire across cultures. Chupacabra, ghouls, strigoi, vrykolakas, lilitu, Vetala, tunda, or Wendigo they all follow the same rules. Except when they don't.
The writings of Shihab al-Din, the Berhatiah indicates that the first such physical demon wandered in ancient Persia and was a practitioner of alchemy and Sihr. Yet our records suggest a more ancient origin.
An ancient gem or stone that would glow at night is often associated with this story but the records are fragmented or lost to time.

English

@Asmallnotch That takes away from the simple nature of this build. I’ve had newbies and more mundane shooters look at my rig with worry.
English

@StrixLeshay I think the best combination is a red dot and LPVO.
Even at 4x, things are still very small

I need this to make up for the shame of me not buying one for 400 when I had the chance

Okay, y'all, @TheRascallion has somehow found himself shootin' the bush with a bunch a Rhodies. Maybe that animal can time travel. Who really knows? Regardless he has decided that this week's battlefield handout is going to be the venerable CZ 75 9mm. If you know, you know. If you don't, here are the rules. To enter FOLLOW us as well as our great partner @SummRidge , REPOST and or QUOTE POST , and REPLY to this post. That is all y'all gotta do! Good Luck Godspeed and remember, with Globalization of Zimbabwe Marxism, we are all Rhodesians now!
English

@Asmallnotch I’m torn on lpvo. I have one on my primary ar but for most people the selecting the magnification is another thing for them to mess with. Red dot plus fixed magnification fixes that
English

@BlokeOnTheRange For barebones yeah you’re right. However I was thinking the do all rifle. One rifle that’s it.
English

@StrixLeshay Not even the magnifier, just the dot (Holosun/equivalent/better) is enough imho.
English

@Variable9637 Because there is better out there. Because everyone wants to be special. Because in the end 90% of guns are a fashion statement
English

@StrixLeshay Mil-spec works as intended why do people fuck with what works
English

@Variable9637 Both my ar15 are psa. They work for what I need. If I ever build another I’ll go for something a bit higher end but for now? I’m good
English

@kodak5247 See I keep arguing with myself about buying an xm177
