The only way this part of you will get what he needs is if somehow she comes around, because without her approval, he's screwed. And leadership involves telling that part of yourself: "It's OK man. I've got you. We're not gonna take any action we don't think is best. Her thoughts and feelings are no threat to us. We will always do what we think is right." And that means that all of a sudden, you can hear her out. Where you disagree, you just let that stand. You don't get tilted. That's what Mitch did in the story. And eventually she came around, because the scared part inside himself had already come around.

What strikes me the most as I follow this trial is that Karmelo Anthony isn't a violent gangster and he has a decent family.
