Now the county says it’s worth $246,000. Did I sell it? No. Did I make a profit? No. Did I get a check for $246,000? No. But my taxes jumped like I did. That’s the problem. This isn’t income. This isn’t cash. This is a number someone decided on paper — and now I’m being billed for it. If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t pay taxes until I sell. If my income doesn’t increase, I don’t magically owe more income tax. So why does owning a home work differently? Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains? A house isn’t just an investment — it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money. You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it. This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.” It’s about being charged for value you never received. And people are starting to notice.

@ScottBottomsCO This goes way deeper, Scott. If people consent to a state issued ‘marriage license’, they signed a contract with the state… of which includes any “product of the marriage.” Yup, this means the kids are subject to the state, also. This is some whacked 💩. Rescind licensing.

This legislature consistently votes to strip away parental rights and authority. I have run bills requiring parental consent for any medical procedure on minors. 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. Yesterday we tried to add parental consent to this bill. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱. The capital is not in charge of our children. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲. We don't drive or 'operate a motor vehicle'. Operate implies operating/running a business. Motor-vehicle means taxi or freight truck. Officer claims thou is running a taxi business with (paying) 'passengers'. They don't say automobile because they don't mean automobile. They mean the odd term 'motor vehicle' which their code defines as a 'vehicle' moving between ports (trans port) paying passengers and/or goods/freight. Furthermore, they assume we're resident aliens or acting as resident agents (corporate role). Resident aliens do not have un-a-lien-able rights. Resident agents are presumed to be affiliated with a U.S. Persona/person, which is under state and federal jurisdiction because state and/or feds created the U.S. Persona/person, and taught us to use it! DMV is a not a department of anything. It's a wholly owned entity of STATE OF whatever. VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES has a Dun & Bradstreet number. A department of an entity would never have it's own D&B number. Right? DMV is a taxi and freight business. Motor-vehicle means taxi or freight truck. We are presumed to be drivers of 'motor-vehicles' which we bought then gave to DMV. The slaves did not know they were slaves! They lived on isolated land/plantations and were told this is how it is. The people of the Underground Railroad struggled to convince them otherwise. Fast-forward to today and here i am trying to tell people they need to get the MCO or MSO back from DMV and travel (not drive) in their automobiles (not motor-vehicles) on roads (not ways). More fundamentally i'm trying to tell people we have the freedom to travel; by food, bike, automobile, whatever, but don't disturb the peace. Also learned recently the dealers are DMV partners, which is why they can issue temp tags. Would not be surprised if dealers receive a fee for this. Dealers send the MCO, which is paramount title, to DMV, even though we purchase the automobiles (not motor-vehicles).

@dnvr_is_burning Taxes (should) only apply to legal entities. Private land and shelter of those that “ordained and established” their governments is non taxable. The Congress created U.S. citizen IS THE LEGAL ENTITY that gets taxed. And we private people ARE NOT THAT. Collapse the presumption!!
