This is incredible: Orange Juice prices are rising so fast they just hit their limit-up threshold and were halted. Since the 2020 low, the price of orange juice is up a massive 315%. This year alone, orange juice prices have jumped by 105%. Meanwhile, Live Cattle prices are up 125% since 2020 and Olive Oil prices are up 130% since last year. What does it mean when food prices outperform hedge funds?

@BigSlurp69 @unusual_whales Prices bottomed out because 30Y mortgages are 7%+. They can't afford to take on more houses.

@unusual_whales Contrary bullish indicator for housing prices. Looks like those landlords tend to buy the peak in prices, and to stop buying when prices bottom out.

@SystemMTUOne @Sten_Sture Customer onboarding, support, network failures etc are all handled much better when they do have to not go into the large corporate pipeline that has a hard time correctly prioritizing cases and then send them in five different directions to various sub-contractors/internal teams

@Sten_Sture Could networks be so big/large this actually becomes a benefit? To the point where sub-sections of the total network are being handled by smaller, more dedicated, business units/teams?

Informal survey for a talk I’m prepping for. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. What are your 3 largest barriers with network automation? This can be barriers to getting started, adoption, operationalizing, upkeep, buy-in, skills. What stops us? What holds us back?

@DanilaImmortal Unlimited exponential growth is simply not possible, there is not a single real world example of it ever being sustainable, or any science pointing towards it even being possible. So both innovation and humanity would eventually fail to keep up after they hit their bottlenecks.

@Svagify Concerned about exponential growth? Let's not forget our exponentially growing ability to innovate. From resource management to sustainable systems and terraforming, we're expanding the carrying capacity of not just Earth, but potentially the universe.

IF YOU AGREE WITH THESE STATEMENTS, WE ARE LIKE-MINDED 🔘 Life is superior to death. 🔘 Every human is unique and irreplaceable. New births do not justify the death of the living. 🔘 The finite nature of existence is the human tragedy. Death has no justification. 🔘 Immortality is an utmost scientific priority. 🔘 Accelerating progress stems from the political landscape. We must construct a society devoted to preserving human life. 🔘 Rational arguments for radical longevity aren't enough. Transhumanist art could stir emotions and serve the cause. 🔘 The world isn't tailored for immortality. Our participation is required for extended life. 🔘 The challenge of radical life extension boils down to building a transhumanist community.

@DanilaImmortal Natural ecosystems are absolutely necessary to support human life, up to this point and even in the future when we colonize space and can engineer them to specifications, for a now exponentially growing amount of immortal humans. But what is that saying about exponential growth?

@Svagify Natural ecosystems didn't invent smartphones or send rovers to Mars. There's absolutely no need for human deaths to propel civilization forward. In fact, the more rational agents we have, the better. I'm not taking up anyone's space. Are you?

#Binance is following the FTX playbook to a T. Airtoken BNB is nearing the 4th and final stage of the shitcoin life cycle in which it returns to the nothingness from which it came. CZ will stop at nothing to extend the "life support" stage; including depletion of users funds.

Thinking about starting a creative subreddit called like IHateSam where every thread is just people complaining, making up stories about why some guy named Sam screwed them over and why he is the worst person in the world.

@LinusEkenstam @Trenton_94 I worked for a large Swedish telco that was very interested at offering this as a value added service for SME. Sat through many presentations by enterprise wireless vendors. After HPE's purchase of Aruba they started pitching solutions like these immediately. That was in 2015.

@SwiftOnSecurity It's very dangerous data to retain because they have no control over what is in DM's and it could contain very personal info like real names and addresses and phone numbers etc which leads to EXTREMELY harsh GDPR penalties if leaked. Reddit accounts usually don't have this data.

But honestly more platforms should be clearing out DM histories from their databases. Why do you want private data you're liable for that nobody is paying you to protect?
