Listen, I’m not an old head…I’m playing this game for the first time right now. It’s literally the continuation of the series and is followed up by RE4 & RE5.
The series is one number off with each release, it’s kind of insane.

It’s already been confirmed(and leaked) that it’s an entirely original story with the Resident Evil logo slapped on it.
I mentioned outbreak because it’s the story of an RC survivor rather a big ticket character like the ones from outbreak.
