@profvrr I agree with many of my colleagues who have commented similarly to @profvrr... organic chemistry teaches you how to think and integrate the abstract to achieve a desired response... important skills for anyone who is going to care for something as complicated as a person.

In today's NYTimes article on #poliovirus in NY, an expert is quoted as saying vaccinated people are protected against the virus. This is WRONG. They are not protected against infection. They are protected from getting paralysis. Vaccinated people may still get infected.
