@ChristineBrejc1 Yes. Only in Christ are all curses broken. For if anyone is in Christ, he or she is a new creation; old things have passed away. Without Christ, curses remain.

It actually isn’t; generational curses are often the result of bad choices made by the forefathers. It takes someone called by Christ, under the anointing of Christ, to lay their life on the altar in submission for all to break these curses. (Romans 12:1) Forgiveness frees the heart from the shame, hurt, and heaviness of an orphan mentality, which can be self-sabotaging. However, big forgiveness alone does not break the curses that can affect entire families for up to the third and fourth generation. (Exodus 20:5-6) The only one who can break these curses, usually stemming from idolatry and the actions of the mother, father, and forefathers, is the Anointed One, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:13) It begins with forgiveness, but the cost is heavy. (Luke 14:27) Galatians talks about Christ freeing us from the curse of the law; however, the only one who can remove any curse is the one who spoke it into existence. Too many people in the churches have created self-proclaiming doctrines that suggest we have more power than we actually do. The power is in Christ, and not everyone is anointed. There is a heavy cost for the oil that few pay with their lives to receive. There is always a chain breaker chosen before the foundations of the earth, often the black sheep who is shunned.—the hated one that loves them all regardless. I have lived it, so I know.
