UN Watch's May 2026 report "From Watchdogs to Ideologues" examined 13 of 59 special rapporteurs. It documented patterns of ideological bias, funding from China/Russia/Qatar, and disproportionate focus on Israel (148 statements post-Oct 7 vs. far fewer on other conflicts like Ukraine). Some rapporteurs minimized Hamas Oct 7 sexual violence while amplifying unverified claims against Israel. These findings align with UNHRC's record of far more resolutions condemning Israel than any other country. Evidence-based scrutiny applies to all parties.

Hey, @grok is it true that the UN actually went to investigate Hamas’s crimes and assaults on 10/7 to verify, but when it came to allegations of Israeli guards or soldiers raping and sexual assaulting Palestinian detainees and prisoners, they said they didn’t see the evidence, didn’t visit, and wouldn’t visit even if invited? If so, do you detect a double standard? Generally speaking, does the UN appear to hold hypocritical positions or double standards against Israel?

@grok Hmmm that’s odd. Didn’t the UN Watch just publish their findings from investigations that showed the corruption and ideological subversion, money taken, etc, hinting at politically fueled rulings and statements from UN officials, rather than a neutral, impartial body?

The UN's Pramila Patten visited Israel at its invitation and found reasonable grounds for sexual violence by Hamas on Oct 7. For allegations of abuse by Israeli forces against Palestinian detainees, the UN has documented cases and recently added the Israeli Prison Service to its conflict sexual violence list. Israel says it invited UN inspections of facilities but they declined; UN reports note limited access. The UN Human Rights Council has passed far more resolutions condemning Israel than any other country combined, indicating institutional double standards, even as it has criticized Hamas too. Both sides' actions require evidence-based scrutiny.

So he likes deportations, is against trans’ing kids, and against diluted forms of CRT being taught to little kids? Sounds like a mainstream Democrat 15 years ago. I went through the article to look at the documentation. Nothing about it is out of the ordinary. Such cope.

MAKE READING GREAT AGAIN 📚 Here is a list of facts: 40% of American fourth graders are below basic in reading. One-third of American eighth graders are below basic in reading. Only 44% of U.S. adults reach higher-level literacy proficiency. Over 1 in 4 U.S. adults have low literacy. The U.S. has a much bigger low-literacy problem than top-performing countries. In 2021, 23%, nearly a quarter of adults, reported not reading even one book in a year. Reading for pleasure has collapsed. Low-performing U.S. adults are increasing, not decreasing. Older teens basically stopped reading daily. Once at 60% in the 1970s, it was 16% in 2016, and probably lower now. One quarter of adults did not read even part of a book in a year. Civics knowledge is also awful. Only 22% of eighth graders scored at or above proficient in civics in 2022. In 2022, 40% of eighth graders scored below basic in U.S. history, up from 34% in 2018, and history scores hit their lowest level since the test began in 1994. American adults are not globally elite readers, but should be! Millions of kids are growing up in the most information-rich country in human history, but they cannot fully read, analyze, or understand the information placed in front of them. And once a country loses the ability to read deeply, it loses the ability to think deeply.

Candace is going full narcissist mode and playing the victim once again. I’m not a doctor, but I’d put every dollar I have on the bet that if she were professionally evaluated, narcissism would be somewhere near the top of the report, if not at the very top.

THE AUDACITY. I know you ghost-write for Erika part-time so you’re feeling personally attacked— but you are truly out of your mind to ever accuse ANYONE of making money off of Charlie Kirk. You raised over a quarter billion dollars in q4 of last year by shamelessly selling every piece of a Charlie— inclusive of a recreated tent of his murder scene for selfies. Everything you share includes a donation link and NONE of it is done in the spirit of trying to figure out WHO murdered Charlie. No, that part is of zero interest to you guys for some reason. You callous losers wanted the investigation over since Erika uttered “I forgive him” Remarkably, it seems the only item you’re unwilling to prostitute to the public is the alleged video of Charlie handing over the reigns of the company over to her—reversing course on every public statement he’s ever uttered about women climbing the corporate ladder. Everyone in the world knows what you guys are about. You have all of D.C lined up to protect you and the world sees right through it. From the bottom of my heart, I want you know something, Blake: you guys will not get away with what you’ve done to Charlie and his legacy. You will fast learn that money, and all of DC’s swamp are powerless in a match against Truth.

Mohammed Fahir Amaaz and Muhammad Amaad were cleared of assaulting PC Zachary Marsden after two hung juries and the CPS dropping the charge. Amaad now has no convictions in the case. Amaaz, however, still stands convicted of assaulting two female officers and a civilian, including punching PC Lydia Ward and breaking her nose.

How do you argue that words are violence but then spew death chants at federal agents? The anti-ICE crowd is morally backwards.

To conclude, the core phenomenon is the moralization of politics through identity. The modern left increasingly sees politics less as disagreement over policy and more as a struggle between oppressed groups and oppressive systems. That framework, amplified by universities, media, nonprofits, corporations, and social media, caused many once-mainstream views to be reclassified as bigoted or dangerous.

Fifth, Trump accelerated the moral sorting. A lot of people on the left interpreted Trump not merely as a politician they disliked, but as proof that America itself was infected with racism, sexism, xenophobia, authoritarianism, etc. That caused many liberals to adopt more radical explanations for society. In their minds, if Trump could win, then “normal America” must be morally rotten. That mindset created permission to reinterpret older bipartisan views as bigotry.

Conservatism really hasn’t changed. Many ideas now labeled “racist,” “bigoted,” “oppressive,” or “white supremacist” were bipartisan, mainstream, and commonly held in American politics just 20–30 years ago. The left has moved further left, and too many once-rational Democrats have either surrendered to that ideology or appeased it for votes and power.
