Each new generation is hitting the traditional adult milestones at a later age than the last. stevestewartwilliams.com/p/swearing-as-…

@SashaGusevPosts @charlesmurray Generation after generation of shitty parenting and sociopathic subculture does explain a lot by itself.
English

@charlesmurray Thanks for reading. This study demonstrates that environmental factors explain the apparent genetic ancestry association i.e. it refutes the hypothesis that "both genes and the environment have something to do with racial differences".
English

Sasha, surely by this time you know the paragraph in TBC summarizing our view on genes/environment. It is the sum total, EVERYTHING, that TBC claims about the role of genes. It's highlighted in the relevant page. How does your post pertain?

Periodic reminder that the only serious test of the hereditarian hypothesis on group differences showed that large differences in educational attainment were explained by environmental factors correlated with ancestry in Mexico. An example of The Bell Curve getting shredded.

@avidseries Based on your ideal, you should check out northern New Mexico (Albuquerque, Santa Fe, etc.)
English

The only above option I would never consider is the first one. The other three all seem desirable in their ideal forms. But that walkable big city neighborhood might have more nearby urban dysfunction than I'd like, that small town possibly no one I'd have anything in common with, and driving a half-hour to the grocery or hardware store gets old when you live out in the middle of nowhere.
My ideal, though, remains a house out in the middle of a semi-arid landscape with mountains in the distance.
English

@avidseries In the mid-west, there's a fifth option which is my favorite. It's the rural area that is near a good-sized city. You live in a wooded area on lots of land, but all the amenities are within a 10-15 minute drive. It's like a suburb, but much more spread-out, wooded properties.

@Heccles94 Strawman much? Elon wouldn't do any of those things because they'd be pointless and destructive. Everything Elon is doing is visionary and productive. In fact, that's exactly how he became a trillionaire.
English

Would it be good for the world for one man to own a million homes all for himself? No.
Would it be good for the world for one man to buy tonnes and tonnes of food, far more than one man could ever eat? No.
Would it be good for society for one man to buy up all the medicine and keep it for himself? No.
Billionaires are not good for society.
Trillionaires are not good for society.

@DavidJHarrisJr Why would you even need sex organs in heaven? I mean, are they making babies up there, too?
English

@BillboardChris She always looks like she's on the verge of tears.
English

@edkonyha @BillboardChris Sometimes I'll call myself "darling" when I'm feeling especially manly.
English

@BillboardChris As a dude, I always try to tell myself, "Oh honey, you're part of the problem" because that's what dudes do.
English

@EdMarkey No, you would just let foreign fraudsters steal it all.
English

A 5% tax on Elon’s net worth would fund every community health center in America for the next 26 years.
I’ll say it again. Tax the rich.
toly 🇺🇸@toly
lol. Senator from Massachusetts who created a self inflicted housing shortage wants to tax the people of Texas, who build electric cars and rockets, to subsidize the self inflicted housing shortage
English

What the hell does “white culture” mean? White American culture? Are there people who think just “white culture” is actually descriptive of something?
Daniel Concannon@TooWhiteToTweet
English

@ewarren No, you'll just let the immigrant fraudsters steal it like you do now.
English

@IsaiahLCarter @IsaiahLCarter, if you had to put a number on it, what percent of black people are the problem?
English

A Black man who's sick of you fatherless hoodrats and your bullshit, that's who
Your Majesty King Rxck@LilRxckyrxck
@IsaiahLCarter Bruh who tf is this 😂😂
English

@rirokpik All you need is competence and dependability to get those things. Ask any black people who have attained success (outside of sports/entertainment...those industries are too elite to be attainable by everyone).
English

@RealJarTaylor Incredible! According to her (and people like her), we're all supposed to bend our will and societal norms/rules to the "boundaries" of black children. Her ethno-narcissism knows no bounds. Her 85 IQ doesn't even realize the implications of what she wrote.
English

Howard University prof blames, Austin Metcalf's father for Austin's death.
"YOU failed to teach your boy that Black children have boundaries."
"YOU failed to teach your son that touching, confronting, crowding, testing, or policing another person can have consequences."
"YOU failed to teach him that the same world that cheers white boys for being bold and aggressive will not always be there to save them when they mistake somebody else’s restraint for permission."

English

Karmelo was in a place he wasn't supposed to be. When some kids called him on it and asked him to leave (15 times!). He felt "disrespected", so he threatened them--while having his hand on a hidden knife. After enough time, Austin "lightly shoved" him, then Karmelo immediately plunged a knife into his chest. Sorry, that's not even close to self defense.
