Had a standoff with my Labrador earlier on a walk as she wanted to go left to the really muddy park and I wanted to go right to the not muddy park. Obviously stood my ground so we could both establish who was in charge. Anyway, yeah, we went to the very muddy park.

I had to listen to this more than once to understand it. Pretty broad north-east Scots (Doric). Translation in the next post (or as near as I can translate it).

If you’ve been paying in regularly for decades it will provide an income of around the state pension amount for the majority of your retirement. Your income in retirement will be roughly double those who chose to spend rather than save 👍

To say I am angry is a complete understatement. I turn 66 this year and so am entitled to my state pension on my birthday. I worked full-time, paying full NI all my life for 41 years. Checking my projected pension, I am advised I will get £201.06 per week. Crap, crap!!
