@fortybelowzero That, and bluesky from a user experience is very similar to twitter - realtime chronological feed(s) so you can follow events/hashtags in real time, a fair algorithm (many people claiming 10x the engagement to posts there than here), but with great trust and safety provisions.

FYI its struggling with the amount of signups at the mo, so keep checking. I'm "@fortybelowzero.com" on there. I'm also on threads, but i dunno, i dont trust musk not to turn that into a hellscape of ads and spam like facebook, which is unlikely to happen on bluesky.

Pretty sure they've added another million in the last day - imagine twitter from the earlier days when it was fun, exciting and full of memes and potential (and not surrounded by racists). You should give it a go (google "sky follower bridge" to find people you know on twitter)

@thomasforth I can see loads of windmills from my window (in the upper Calder valley) - I'd be perfectly happy with more - I think they look majestic and get a good feeling knowing the electricity we use is almost certainly all renewable here, not sure why people get upset about them! 🤷‍♂️

@dergal @mocwoods @GameTripperUK I was as surprised as anyone it all worked 😂 I remember frantically debugging something that was broken while the players were walking over to templeworks 😳. I think my fave memory was the actors playing the office workers making up gossip about co-workers who were on holiday!
