@griffinsinns @CoveredGeekly @BrandonDavisBD I do think part of the reason they left was because of the decision to kill off Carl but as well as a bunch of other factors. I know Andy was originally supposed to leave the show back in season 8 but he wasn’t ready to at that moment.

Andy had been saying he wanted a break for years, it's not a coincidence that he took it right after Carl died. Chandler himself said Andy and Danai were heavily against Carl dying and they tried to fight for him.

@TrophyProd @CoveredGeekly @BrandonDavisBD I disagree. The ratings were not getting higher and it was pretty clear they were getting close to the 2 final arcs of the comics. I also think Andy and Danai's departures had more to do with Carl getting killed off than anything else.
