@BornAgainMissy @needGod_net My bad, said Sam, but meant @needGod_net We are NOT saved by grace alone but rather grace through faith (Eph 2:8). And the Holy Spirit (via Paul) tells us that obedience is a component of faith (Rom 1:5 and 16:26). Saving faith ALWAYS obeys or it is dead faith.

@BornAgainMissy Disagree with Lloyd. Just as a wife opens her heart and body to receive her husband's seed and a precious child is brought forth, so we must open our hearts to receive the seed of Jesus Christ (aka the Gospel), and then a miraculous new creature is brought forth.

God commands wives to win their disobedient husbands without the word (1 Peter 3:1) but with godly behavior. Why? A warm, loving, generous, servant-hearted, and kind wife will do FAR more to win her husband than anything she could say; for actions speak louder than words.
