Wormwood is bitterness. In the last days, many professing Christians will be victims to the root of bitterness growing in their hearts and choking love. Seeing lawlessness increase causes a righteous soul to despair, even to the point of bitterness towards other people. Don't drink the waters (spirit, knowledge, doctrine) turned to wormwood, but living waters that proceed from God's throne! We must root this out if it's taken root in us and not drink of such a spirit. Instead, we should fill ourselves with God's living word of faith, hope, and love and build one another up in a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind! Our flesh must be on the cross, for we are crucified with Him - not other people, for we do not wrestle against the flesh and blood of others. We await our Saviour; we await the Kingdom of peace, joy and righteousness He builds within us to be established physically here on earth when He returns! ___ Matthew 24:12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. Hebrews 12:15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; Revelation 8:11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Deuteronomy 29:18 so that there may not be among you man or woman or family or tribe, whose heart turns away today from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations, and that there may not be among you a root bearing bitterness or wormwood;

Knowledge about freedom doesn’t set us free; freedom must be experienced. Liberty in the Spirit never allows liberty for the flesh. The flesh is on the cross and must remain there. If you give the flesh freedom, the result will always be sin and ungodliness. It is not possible for the Spirit and the flesh to be free at the same time, because they are in opposition to one another. If the Spirit of God is to reign in our hearts, and if Christ is to be sanctified as Lord in our hearts, the flesh must be silenced and crucified on the tree of cursing. But on the contrary, if the flesh rules as lord, then the Spirit of God must withdraw, and Satan and his spiritual hosts will take control. If a person wavers between these two, they become lukewarm and lethargic, and usually end up an enemy of the cross of Christ and of those whom God uses to preach the word of the cross. Purity gives power.

Yes:) There’s two things:) My race in terms of the light I receive from Him, the sin to lay off which so easily clings as per Hebrews. And that I find in number two: Doing the good, serving and walking in His works. Inseparable yes, but may people get tired of serving and doing the good - because they were not also doing the first. They feel they are not thanked and appreciated and often then look to how it is with others and start comparing themselves. Instead of continuing in His light and laying off all hindrance - self-serving thoughts etc.

The only way to be faithful is to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. We make our calling and election sure by continuing to listen to the voice that speaks from above. That voice goes against our own will — so do not harden your heart! By obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit, we are making our calling sure. Dear Disciple, In doing the good that God’s works in us to do, we find many self-praising thoughts arise in our minds. These must be crushed and never allowed in our hearts. Then we remain pure of heart. #sanctification

You can’t fake true virtue. We die so Christ’s life can be manifested in us. Performance goodness is soulish at best and repulsive to those who thirst for real salvation and liberation.

@OmegaMessage @PositivFuturist I don’t understand that entire mindset. I’m a father of 2. My kids are adults now (all thanks to God), but I would have done anything to ensure they ate and were cared for when I was raising them.

@OmegaMessage Thank you for these; this is an intentional habit I am getting into. Whenever I find myself reading a verse/passage and applying to someone else, to stop and recognize I am doing that, and instead apply it to myself. Has ended a lot of problems before they even began!😅🙏
