Take a break from your finals for these events tomorrow! At 11am, Dr. Dennis Childs and Jeanine Erikat (PYM) are giving a teach-in on Black and Palestinian solidarity. Then at 12pm, we will be screening “Lyd,” a speculative documentary about the city of Lyd in occupied Palestine.

The film "Lyd" tells the story of the 1948 Nakba through the impact it had on the ancient Palestinian city, now known by Israelis as Lod. Directors Rami Younis and Sarah Ema Friedland say "the story of Lyd is the story of Palestine."

UCSD filed a restraining order against UAW at the California Superior Court. The Court issued a temporary restraining order against the union just hours ago.
